ESG-based sustainability programme
In our sustainability work, we take responsibility for the environment and for people, and we operate in line with good governance principles.
Our long-term sustainability objectives are:
- We aim to be a carbon-neutral company by 2030.
- We are committed to the Zero accident vision.
Our sustainability programme is based on SRV’s materiality assessment, which is regularly updated through employee surveys and stakeholder discussions. We have identified three major megatrends — denser cities, accelerating climate change and increasing digitalisation — and our material themes are linked to these developments.
The programme includes new objectives that support our strategy, and it reflects the fact that our operations influence the entire construction value chain and lifecycle. The sustainability programme covers the following goals:
Environmental responsibility
- More than 80% of our business activity will be classified as green business.
- Reducing climate impacts in line with the Paris Agreement’s 1.5-degree target and increasing our carbon handprint.
- Promoting biodiversity in the built environment and assessing the nature footprint of our own operations.
Social responsibility
- Reducing the number of occupational accidents in line with the Zero accident vision.
- Operating in accordance with our customer promise and achieving industry-leading customer satisfaction.
- Becoming the most attractive employer in the sector by 2025 and improving our employee recommendation score by 10% from the 2023 level.
Good governance
- ESG targets are integrated into decision-making and remuneration.
- 100% of personnel complete the annual online Code of Conduct training.
- Understanding our value chain and auditing our key partners by the end of 2025.
