Sustainability management
SRV’s key sustainability themes are brought together in a sustainability programme that follows the ESG framework. The aim is to ensure that sustainability work supports the company’s strategic objectives and strengthens the business in an increasingly demanding operating environment. SRV also seeks to act as an innovative and continuously developing professional in sustainability matters.
Sustainability is managed within SRV’s governance structure. The Board of Directors approves the company’s sustainability policies and principles and is committed to the targets set in the sustainability programme. The Corporate Executive Team is responsible for sustainability work, which is led by the Senior Vice President, Communications and Marketing. The practical work is managed by the Sustainability Manager in close collaboration with representatives from business units and various support functions. SRV’s safety initiatives are developed by the HSEQ Manager, while environmental matters are overseen by the Environmental Manager.
Sustainability programme 2026-2030
SRV’s sustainability programme defines the company’s priorities, targets, and metrics for advancing sustainability through to 2030. The program serves as a group-level framework guiding SRV’s operations across environmental, social, and governance (ESG) dimensions.
The sustainability program is closely linked to SRV’s strategy and key business metrics. It includes clearly defined targets and indicators that enable systematic tracking of progress and ensure that sustainability is embedded in day-to-day operations.

SRV’s value creation model
The impacts of our business on society and stakeholders are described in SRV’s value creation model, which forms the basis for our materiality assessment in sustainability.
SRV’s operations have significant and long-term impacts on the surrounding society. The greatest influence arises from the buildings and infrastructure we construct, which remain in use for decades, in some cases for more than a century. Sustainable design and construction therefore play a central role in both mitigating and adapting to climate change.
