Stakeholder engagement
Our key stakeholders include customers, personnel, the Board of Directors and senior management, shareholders, industry organisations, partners, the media, NGOs, the general public, public authorities, and municipal and political decision-makers.
Engaging our stakeholders is essential for the company’s success. We regularly provide information about our business, operating environment and practices so that our stakeholders can form an accurate and well-founded view of the company.
By listening, we build wisely
We work with different stakeholder groups on a regular basis to better understand their views and needs. For example, SRV representatives meet investors and analysts both in smaller meetings and at large public events. SRV also contributes to industry development by working closely with other organisations in the sector, including through its role in the Confederation of Finnish Construction Industries RT. SRV is also an active member of Finnish Business and Society. In addition, SRV representatives participate actively in the RT Environment and Energy Group and in Green Building Council Finland.
SRV also involves its stakeholders in business development, for example by engaging them in the early planning stages of projects.

Responsible stakeholder cooperation
SRV’s ethical guidelines define the principles of responsible stakeholder relations, which all employees must follow. SRV develops its projects with a long-term perspective and works with its stakeholders to build a sustainable future. The construction sector plays an important role in creating a better society, as its activities have a significant impact on the environment, communities and the wider society. Our donations and sponsorships are guided not only by the company’s strategy but also by our desire to contribute to society.

SOS Children’s Village – “Making Dreams Come True” programme
In spring 2024, SRV signed a cooperation agreement with SOS Children’s Village, an international child welfare organisation that promotes children’s rights. Sponsorship funds are directed to the “Making Dreams Come True” programme, which supports low-income families in Finland and helps children in these families to start or continue their hobbies.

Trailblazers
SRV has a customer promise that helps us move towards an excellent customer experience. At the core of this promise "By listening, we build wisely" is asking and listening. Trailblazers is one of our key channels for listening. We established Trailblazers so that everyone can contribute to the future we build. We believe that construction done sustainably and with genuine dialogue can make life and the environment better.

Youth Panel
Through SRV’s Our City Youth Panel, young people can help shape cities into better places to live and grow. Urban development already relies on continuous dialogue with stakeholders. The Youth Panel deepens this dialogue with one particularly important stakeholder group — the future residents of our cities.
