We built a new residential block in Louhela, Vantaa, a leafy residential area dating back to the 1960s. The bright apartments at Vantaan Aarni offer high-quality living in a modern setting.
Infill development helps meet the demand for high-quality new homes in urban centres. This is also the case in Louhela. Completed in 2022, Vantaan Aarni complements the existing buildings in this residential area dating back to the 1960s. Aarni gave local residents the opportunity to buy a new home with a lift and modern amenities.
Modern homes with glazed balconies
Vantaan Aarni, located in the new residential block, comprises 42 modern apartments, each with a large glazed balcony.
The homes at Aarni have been designed with everyday practicality in mind, featuring high-quality materials and functional layouts. The apartments range from studios to homes with several bedrooms. Residents also have access to a communal sauna.

A popular neighbourhood close to nature
Louhela in Vantaa is a pleasant and convenient place to live. The local shopping centre provides services close to home, while the larger Myyrmanni shopping centre is just over a kilometre away. The nearest schools and day care centres are also nearby.
The extensive Jokiuoma park area can be accessed directly from beside Aarni, and the neighbourhood offers a wide range of recreational activities. The nearby park also hosts various events and other activities for residents to enjoy.
Louhela railway station, approximately 500 metres away, provides convenient connections along the Ring Rail Line to central Helsinki and Helsinki Airport. The Hämeenlinnanväylä highway and Ring Road III are also just a short drive away.

Enhancing neighbourhoods through infill development
Vantaan Aarni is a good example of how modern, attractive homes can be built within an existing residential neighbourhood.
We are a reliable infill development partner for housing companies looking to improve their finances. To achieve this, we work closely with housing companies on infill development projects, particularly in growing urban areas. We take into account the distinctive characteristics of existing neighbourhoods and the lifecycle wisdom of new homes.
New homes also help maintain and develop local services, such as workplaces, day care centres and transport connections, for the future. Infill development also creates a more compact urban structure, reducing the need to develop previously undeveloped areas.
