In Visio, everyday life in Kalasatama takes place on several levels: a daycare centre is located at courtyard level, rental apartments occupy the upper floors and residents have access to shared facilities with panoramic views on the 22nd floor. SRV built the residential tower next to REDI shopping centre and Kalasatama metro station.
Visio, one of eight residential towers built by SRV in Helsinki's Kalasatama district, rises to an impressive height of 98 metres above sea level. The 24-storey building contains 240 rental apartments and a daycare centre at the level of the courtyard situated on the roof of REDI shopping centre.
The 22nd floor offers shared facilities for residents, including a sauna and a panoramic terrace. Residents have easy access to the services of REDI shopping centre and excellent public transport connections, with Kalasatama metro station located on the shopping centre's third floor.
The building's energy efficiency has been enhanced through high-quality heat recovery from exhaust air and wastewater. These measures have helped the building achieve an A energy rating and a BREEAM Very Good certification.
Visio is located at the south-western corner of REDI, offering views to the south and west towards central Helsinki and across Kalasatama to the sea. The building has a total lettable area of approximately 10,000 m², including the daycare centre. Construction began in January 2022 and the tower was completed by the end of 2023.
