SRV delivered high-specification premises for the Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority (STUK) in Jokiniemi, Vantaa, successfully meeting STUK’s specific requirements.
The new premises for the Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority (STUK) were commissioned by Senate Properties, with whom SRV has worked on several similar projects. The new premises were designed in close and effective collaboration with the client.
The new facilities ensure that STUK can continue to carry out its demanding specialist duties in the future while developing its operating and working practices. At the same time, the premises support the objectives of the Finnish Government’s premises strategy, which emphasises efficient use of space and activity-based working environments.
The building includes exceptionally demanding laboratory facilities, which placed high requirements on the construction. The total scope of the building is 12,700 square metres (gross).
