SRV GROUP PLC PRESS RELEASE 8.7.2025 AT 13.15 EEST
Amex GBT Moves Its Offices to the Horisontti Office Skyscraper in Kalasatama
The world's leading business travel and event company, American Express Global Business Travel, is relocating its offices from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport to Horisontti in Helsinki's Kalasatama. In November, a new conference and event center will also open on the 25th floor of Horisontti, offering high-quality conference and event space with impressive views for both Horisontti tenants and other users.
The design of Amex's new offices focuses on brand consistency, flexibility, and the implementation of high-quality customer areas, for which Horisontti provides an excellent solution. The spaces will include a variety of workspaces for different working needs and customized solutions according to the global company's requirements. Amex will move into the new offices in November 2025.
"We are looking forward to moving to Horisontti, the first Finnish office skyscraper. The state-of-the-art business premises together with outstanding views will be an inspiration for our clients and employees," says Susanne Lindroos, Amex GBT's Business Development Director.
"We are pleased to welcome a high-quality, global player like Amex GBT to Horisontti. They found that Horisontti´s flexible space solutions meet their diverse requirements well," says SRV's CEO Saku Sipola.
The 26-story Horisontti, Finland's first office skyscraper, was completed in April 2025. The first to start operations in the tower was the restaurant BISOUBISOU Brasserie & Bar on the 24th floor at the end of April. The construction company SRV moved its metropolitan area offices to the tower in May. The domestic building technology company Amplit will move into the new offices in October 2025.
The conference center will open in the upper floors of Horisontti in November
A conference and event center will open on the 25th floor of Horisontti at the beginning of November, offering high-quality conference space with impressive views. The spaces are suitable for meetings, training sessions, product launches, and family celebrations.
"Several entities interested in Horisontti´s space solutions have requested a separate conference center outside their own premises that would best showcase Horisontti´s uniqueness. To meet this need and for broader use, we will open a magnificent conference and event center on the 25th floor of Horisontti in November. The conference center is part of the service offering of Horisontti and Redi, which is highly valued by the tenants of the office skyscraper, and it complements the cabinet offerings of the restaurant on the 24th floor. The conference center provides flexible additional space for Horisontti tenants' meeting and event needs," says Saku Sipola.
"The new conference and event center will make the stunning views of Finland's first office skyscraper accessible to entities outside the tower, including evenings and weekends. The finest meetings and gatherings in Finland will be held here, as well as family celebrations! There are good examples of this around the world, which we are now happily bringing to Finland," adds Sipola.
