SRV to build Laakso Joint Hospital in Helsinki
SRV has been chosen to develop and build Laakso Joint Hospital in Helsinki as an alliance project. The clients are the City of Helsinki and the Helsinki and Uusimaa Hospital District. The project is divided into several development and construction phases, with a total value of approximately EUR 730 million. The project will be entered in SRV's order backlog in accordance with the ordered phases during the years 2021-2028. The project will not tie up SRV's capital and, if completed, will generate a significant part of SRV's revenue in the coming years. The procurement decision is not yet final.
Construction at Laakso Joint Hospital will begin in the autumn 2021 and the estimated completion of the last phase of the hospital campus is expected in 2030. The total area of Laakso Joint Hospital will be approximately 150,000 brm2 .
Laakso Joint Hospital is a hospital specializing in psychiatry, somatic and neurology, which, when completed, will replace the currently scattered operations of Aurora, Hesperia, Kellokoski, Ohkola, Laakso and Suursuo hospitals in one new Campus area in Helsinki. The existing premises are functionally old-fashioned, in immediate need of renovation and separated from each other.

In addition, SRV has carried out a renovation of the Women's Clinic.
