Park Inn Hotels in St. Petersburg

Long-term customer relationship with a hotel company the Rezidor Hotel Group, which started in the development and construction project of the Tallinn Radisson SAS hotel, is successfully continued in the reconstruction and renovation project of the Park Inn Hotels Pulkovskaya and Pribaltiyskaya in St. Petersburg.

Park Inn Pribaltiyskaya

The first contract, won by SRV in June 2007, comprised the renovation of the hotel rooms and passages. It was a turnkey project which covered planning, demolition, construction works as well as furniture and equipment delivery and installation. SRV carried out the reconstruction as a project management contractor.

There are 1200 hotel rooms in the hotel and 700 rooms of them were under renovation. The renovation started after the tourist season was over, in October 2007. The hotel was open for service over the whole period of reconstruction works and the rooms were put into use as soon as they became available. This phase was completed at the end of April 2008.

In June 2008 SRV signed a contract for refurbishment of public premises of Park Inn Hotel Pribaltiyskaya. Works started in October 2008 and continued until autumn 2009 without summer season break. The scope of the contract was 9,000 m2 in total and included premises on ground floor and the first floor, of which the conference center comprised about 7,000 m2. Existing restaurant premises on ground floor and bar on the first floor were renovated. All existing conference and negotiation facilities were renovated as well and centred on the first floor.

Park Inn Pulkovskaya

The project was implemented as a project management contract and included renovation and furnishing of the 1st floor conference halls, restaurants, lobby and reception spaces. In addition, the old commercial and office premises have been transformed into meeting rooms. The scope of renovation works is 5,500 m2.
 
During the renovation the hotel has operated normally. Design works started in April 2007 and construction works began in early autumn. The opening of the public premises reconstructed during the first stage has taken place in March 2008; the works of the second stage have been completed in April 2008. The project gives to the hotel good possibilities to become one of the best congress centres in St. Petersburg.
