Kampin Luola underground car park

SRV executed the underground parking facility, Kampin Luola, as a developer contracting  project . The car park offers parking for 500 cars on two levels. The ramp to the car park serves also as  air-raid shelter for 2400 persons. Passages to the new car park were built from Kamppi Center (a lift to the Espoo bus terminal level), from Annantalo yard area (Kansakoulunkuja 3) and from Eerikinkatu 8.

SRV had total liability for the project. The following figures describe the scope of the project: the volume of tunnel excavation is 90.000 m3, area of the parking facility, pedestrian zones, engineering and utility service rooms is 21.000 floor square metres; volume of guniting is 45.000 m2.

In addition to the car park, SRV excavated the western part of the City Service Tunnel as well as the parking slab under Kalevankatu street. In connection of these works, SRV excavated also an underground service yard under the hotel Marski and a shaft from the service yard up to the building. SRV was also the executor of the construction contract 1 of the City Service Tunnel. The works were completed in spring 2009.
